Dr. Doran L. Nicholson
Dr. Doran L. Nicholson is the owner and Chief Radiologist of Midwest Radiology Consultants, a nationwide film reading service established in 1983. Dr. Nicholson is a residency-trained, nationally recognized Chiropractic Radiologist and speaker in the field of radiology certified by the American Chiropractic Board of Radiology. He has given over 300 lectures and has authored or co-authored over 35 papers published in the field of radiology.
Education
Dr. Nicholson is a 1980 graduate of Cleveland Chiropractic College of Kansas City. Following graduation, he was selected as the first radiology resident at Cleveland Chiropractic College. Two years of his residency were performed at Truman Medical Center. Dr. Nicholson taught radiology at Cleveland Chiropractic College for 22 years, being chairman of the Department of Radiology for ten of those years. He is highly skilled in reading imaging studies and has performed several Level II visiting fellowships in MRI and CT. Dr. Doran L. Nicholson’s honors include “Alumnus of the Year,” Missouri Chiropractic Physicians Association “Educator of the Year,” and the 2018 Missouri Chiropractic Physicians Association “Doctor of Year.” He is the past president of Cleveland Chiropractic College Alumni Association. He was also the first Chiropractor in the state of Missouri to be appointed to a Department of Health Committee. Dr. Nicholson served as the Missouri Chiropractic Physicians Association President from 2014-2016 followed by serving as Treasurer from 2016-2018.

Dr. Doran L. Nicholson has made it his mission to help fight for the rights of chiropractors in the state of Missouri. He does this by serving on legislative committees, being involved in political action groups and taking numerous trips to the state capital each year to meet with lawmakers to discuss the concerns and needs of chiropractors in Missouri. Dr. Nicholson enjoys hiking in the mountains, visiting wineries in California and spending time with his family.
